Located in the resort paradise of the pearl island of Phu Quoc, Grand World is a complex resort-entertainment-commercial project that promises to be an attractive destination for domestic and foreign tourists. Oriented as a city that never sleeps, the commercial system here is invested in a variety of types and shapes of stalls.
As one of the shops in the Shanghai neighborhood of the project, SA-05-28 is registered to provide handmade souvenirs, these strange but familiar products will be a memorable memory for those set foot here. The unique ideas in the design make a strange feature besides the traditional and rustic materials embroidered by the indigenous people, which have formed very familiar features, becoming the characteristics of the Vietnamese people.
Although encapsulated in an area of 46 m2 of floor space and shaped by the general structure of the project, the shop still makes the most of the space by creating a space connecting the floors. The use of glass display shelves for the position of the atrium railing not only diversifies the customer's contact with the product and creates a sense of ventilation for the accessible space.
The staircase system connecting the floors utilizes lightweight, sleek sheet metal instead of conventional concrete; this design choice creates a greater sense of spaciousness and shortens the construction period, ensuring the shop is ready to open on schedule alongside other stores in the project.
To highlight the diverse traditional beauty of the products, the shop’s spaces harmoniously blend rustic and transparent materials, presenting the items to visitors with an aesthetic that is both unadorned and refined.
Existing beams are skillfully concealed within a rhythmic, vaulted ceiling; combined with the interior's soft curves, they guide the visitor's gaze along a gentle, relaxing emotional flow.
